Mary Ann Fox (nee Soris), 89, of Woodridge, went to her eternal rest May 17, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born December 21, 1934 in Aurora, IL to Alexander and Anna Soris. Beloved wife of the late James, loving mother of Kathleen (Chad) Boulanger, Deborah (David) Sasek, Michael (Sandra) Fox, James (Lisa) Fox, Thomas Fox, Kevin (Sue) Fox and Michelle Fox; devoted grandmother of Daniel Boulanger, Jacqueline (Matthew) Fitzsimmons, Nicole (Ryan) Novak, Jamie Boulanger, Jonathan, Luke and Sarah Sasek, Brett, Scott and Kelsey Fox (Elijah Alvarado), Lindsay (Thomas) Haggerty, Ryan, Tyler and Ashlyn Fox, Thomas Jr. and Samuel Fox and Harley Wernimont; dearest great grandmother of Tessa, Makenna, Nora, Evan, Abigail, Brady, Owen and Delaney; dear sister of Ed (Carolyn) Soris; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Mary Ann was a caregiver to many, both as the Matriarch of the Fox Family, and also as the head nurse at Mother Teresa Home. She was strict but kind, candid yet loving, and always focused upon others.
We are forever grateful for our most amazing caregiver Nataliya Malyshivska and her team, Lighthouse Hospice Organization, and also to her granddaughters, Kelsey Fox and Sarah Sasek, who made her end-of-life journey comfortable, peaceful and complete.
In lieu of flowers, should friends and family desire, contributions may be sent to Abode Home, a nonprofit end-of-life care home. Abode Home provides contemplative end-of-life care, at no charge, for those who otherwise might not be in the position to die in such a dignified, peaceful setting.
