Virginia M. Novak, age 97, of Westmont,IL, peacefully passed away on September 18, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Virginia “Ginny”, “Gramma G”, “Virg”, was the loving wife of the late Robert Novak; beloved daughter of  Chris and Rose Pasquini; loving sister of Lillian (Edgar) Wehrmeister, Mildred (Robert) Lolich, Gilbert (Lillian) Pasquini, Elaine (Richard) Myers and Robert (Georgene) Pasquini; cherished mother of Christine Duym and Carol (Edmund) Juska; devoted grandmother of Theresa (Steven) Daunheimer, Adam (Nannette) Duym and Gina Palmer; fond great grandmother of seven great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. She loved her many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Family was always the most important part of Ginny’s life.

Born in Hinsdale, IL, she worked in Chicago to support the WWll efforts and later worked at Merrill Printing in Hinsdale. After retiring, Ginny enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, traveling to Door County (where she especially loved the fish boils) and Michigan watching Andy Griffith. She was a devoted Cubs fan, watching each game rooting for her favorite team.

Visitation Sunday September 24 from 3-6 P.M. at Cappetta’s West Suburban Funeral Home 4920 Main St., Downers Grove. Funeral Services Monday at 12 P.M. at the funeral home, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Virginia’s favorite animal rescue groups are greatly appreciated.
